Regis Chelmer is a purpose-built ageing-in-place home inside a faithfully restored 1890s mansion, topped with a magnificent rooftop Club lounge.

Regis Chelmer has good connectivity to Brisbane CBD with the railway station within walking distance. It is also conveniently located with ease of access to shops, clinics, restaurants, golf club, Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens and the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

Our active and enthusiastic residents spend time in countless different ways from participating in the weekly happy hour, to gentle yoga, gardening club, our men’s group and ladies’ high tea.

Our aged care home features 120 single rooms, each with en suite, and all with a view of a courtyard or landscaped garden. Regis Chelmer also offers a Family Room for when a loved one is in palliative care. Equipped with a sofa bed, tea and coffee-making facilities and a pamper trolley, these private rooms offer space and comfort for families.

As a Regis Club Services home, Regis Chelmer offers hotel-style services, including a Club Services Manager. Our Personal Club Plan includes preferred lifestyle activities, an in- room entertainment bundle, cinema, café, private dining room, hairdressing salon, and a day spa.

Payment Options

Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit (RAD), a daily payment (DAP), or a combination of both. A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example monthly. Please call to discuss how this works.

Note, the room cost is up to a maximum of the advertised price by room type and is payable via a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) or Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP).
