Regis’ priority is to ensure the health and safety of our community and the vulnerable people in our care. We do this by following guidance from the Department of Health and implementing strict infection prevention and control measures in our Homes, Sites and Offices, including actively supporting our employees to take up the COVID-19 vaccination. We stand with the Australian Government’s initiative to get all residential aged care employees vaccinated before Friday 17 September. To facilitate this, we partnered with a third-party provider to visit all our Homes, Sites and Offices across the country and administer two doses of the vaccine in rolling on-site clinics that commenced mid-July and will be operational until mid-September. We are confident that Regis will have 100% vaccination rate of all employees before the government’s mandatory date.
