All Aboard! Our Regis Sandgate Musgrave residents recently packed their bags and boarded the Indian Pacific train as it journeyed across our Great Southern Land. Services available on board were a special screening in the film lounge, accompanied by cold beverages and delicious snacks. Our residents also marvelled at our great outback’s beautiful scenery on offer, all from the comfort of the Home.
We had some lovely feedback from our residents regarding this activity. Elva Gillanders said that “the train travel experience was excellent. It looks fantastic and the staff dressed up and I felt like I was in a train myself. Thanks to the Lifestyle team for setting this up.”
Jonathon Banks boasted that “the Indian Pacific travel experience was good. It was educational with the history of some places that the train passes through.”
Finally, Margaret Kilpatrick said that “it was a very nice experience and it felt like I was really inside the train travelling.”
