Join Sue’s care team

Sue has been working at Regis Mildura for over two decades now. She joined the team back in 2001, and since then, has held various roles including Personal Care Assistant before transitioning into her current role as a Lifestyle Assistant at Regis Sunraysia. Sue is a warm, friendly, and dedicated member of the team, and her passion for aged care is reflected in everything she does.

When asked about what attracted her to work in the aged care sector, Sue revealed that she “followed her sister into aged care, who also worked at Regis Sunraysia.”

As a Lifestyle Assistant, Sue has the opportunity to build relationships with residents and their families. She enjoys getting to know them and their interests, and tailoring activities and events to their needs. “I like that as a Lifestyle Team member you get better acquainted with residents and their families,” she says.

For those considering a career in aged care, Sue’s advice is to be a team player and to always listen to your residents. “So much can be achieved with this mindset,” she says.
