Why have I received this letter and Deed of Variation?
You have been provided the opportunity to upgrade to the Regis Additional Services (Classic) package. By agreeing to the Regis Classic package, you are able to receive additional benefits with no increase/change to your current Additional Services fee.
For transparency, the Deed of Variation you have received contains an updated Regis Additional Services (Classic) package with itemised values. The Deed of Variation also confirms that you will continue to enjoy Telephone, Foxtel and Wi-Fi complimentary.
To avoid doubt, upon agreeing and signing the Deed of Variation, you will start receiving the benefit of the Regis Additional Services at your current Additional Services fee. The Telephone, Foxtel and Wi-Fi listed in your contract will remain available to you at no additional cost.

What is Regis Classic offer and the benefits?

- Daily Classic Cooked Breakfast – Ensuring our Classic Residents can enjoy a full hot breakfast daily if they so wish.
- Daily Classic Lunch and Dinner Menu – A choice of 2 main courses at lunch and 2 main courses at dinner.
- Wide range of dishes over a four week cycle.
- Our Chef is supported by a National Catering Team, to ensure we adhere to our high standards of delivery and service
- Daily Classic Beverage Package – Residents can enjoy quality beer, wine and soft drink beverages with lunch if they choose. Non-alcoholic and sugar free options also available.
- Aged Care and Dementia specific education and support sessions (external provider) – A tailored selection of education sessions delivered in the Regis home for the benefit of Resident’s family members and residents aimed at both aged care broadly and Dementia care. The sessions are delivered by external specialist (example: Dementia Australia and Aromacare)

Can I refuse to sign the Deed of Variation?
Yes, you are free to choose to remain on your current Additional Service package and not sign the Deed of Variation.
You will continue to receive the services currently listed in your Additional Services package, but will not enjoy the extra services that form part of Regis Additional Services package at no additional cost (for example, Education sessions and Beverage package). -
What is this Additional Services Review mentioned in the Deed of Variation?
The Additional Services Review is a quarterly review process that Regis has in place that centres around our Residents ability to take up the service clinically.
When you sign across to Regis’ Additional Services offer you will have this added benefit in place. This means each quarter any Resident paying an Additional Services fee will be assessed clinically to determine their ability to use the Additional Services on offer. If they are determined as clinically unable to use a service, the itemised fee pertaining to that service will be removed from the daily Additional Services fee you pay or a substitution of services to the same value. A Deed of Variation will be presented to you for signing when this occurs.

Will my current Additional Services fee stay the same if I sign the Deed of Variation?
Yes, your Additional Services fee will not change upon signing this Deed of Variation. Please refer to your Deed of Variation mentioning the Additional Service fee.

If I sign the Deed of Variation what happens to my current contract with Ti Tree Operations?
No change, all else within your current contract with Ti Tree Operations remains the same.
