Regis Holland Park Clinical Care Manager, Sumira, has been part of the team for over seven years and describes her role as a rewarding experience.  

“I am motivated by the positive impact quality care has on residents’ lives. Advocating for their wellbeing, ensuring they are treated with dignity, and maintaining professional standards are my priorities,” shares Sumira. 

Care to Sumira means prioritising resident safety and clinical excellence by following best practices to provide person-centered care. 

She believes that the positive wellbeing of residents is best achieved through teamwork, with all employees all working toward the shared goal of providing quality care. 

By consistently focusing on quality care and encouraging a proactive approach, she helps to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the team.  

“I believe in creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable providing feedback and where we regularly evaluate and update care plans that reflects residents’ current care needs.” 

Sumira shares that she loves that Regis recognises her and her teams’ achievements in many ways such as award ceremonies, recognition programs and regular performance reviews.
