Regis is pleased to announce a collaboration with The Pure Food Co as further commitment to providing high-quality food and nutrition for residents on texture-modified diets.

Since 2014, Regis has been driving innovation in texture-modified food offerings. With advances in this field, we are now incorporating The Pure Food Co’s products into our lunch and dinner services. These will complement our in-house made texture-modified offerings for breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, desserts and supper.

Following a thorough review of The Pure Food Co products by our in-house clinical and catering experts, as well as our residents and their families, we are delighted to announce the inclusion of these products in our lunch and dinner services. The feedback on taste, quality, nutrition and presentation has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to enhance the Regis dining experience with these new options.

Regis will continue to source fresh produce for our seasonally-adjusted menus, ensuring that all other meals are freshly prepared on-site by our talented chefs and catering teams.

Linda Mellors, Regis Managing Director and CEO, said, “Partnering with The Pure Food Co for this subset of meal types underscores our unwavering commitment to continuously enhance the dining experience and providing the best options for our residents.”

“This provides Regis an exciting opportunity to create new products, offering more choice and nutritious options for residents,” added Mellors.

“After a successful pilot program, employees have received over 300,000 hours of training.”

The Pure Food Co co-founder and co-CEO Sam Bridgewater said, “Food is an absolutely essential part of the human experience and it should nourish us, body and soul.”

“The partnership with Regis is based on a shared passion for ensuring mealtimes are a delicious, nourishing experience every older Aussie looks forward to.” Bridgewater said.

As part of Regis’ stringent review of our menus, this initiative has been endorsed by Speech Pathologists and Nutritionists. Expected benefits are improved culinary experience, increased food intake, enhanced quality and allergen management.
