Regis was founded over 30 years ago and offers a diverse range of care options including home care, residential aged care, retirement living, day therapy and day respite. Regis is one of the largest providers of aged care in Australia with more than 11,500 employees and provides care and services to over 9,500 residents and clients each year.

Integration is the name given to the period commencing from completion of the acquisition, where there may be some changes to systems and processes as we move to align and integrate the BodeWell Home Care business into our day-to-day operations. During this period, it is an opportunity for both organisations to learn more about one another.

Subject to approval from the Department of Health and Aged Care, Regis will become your employer from completion of the acqusition expected in 4Q FY25. The terms and conditions of your employment will be set out in your offer of employment from Regis.

Employees of BodeWell Community Care Home Care business, will be offered positions with Regis and upon acceptance their employment will transfer at completion of the acquisition.

Your employment will transfer through an offer and acceptance process. You will receive an offer of employment from Regis. This is anticipated to occur around 25 February 2025. The offer of employment by Regis will be on terms no less favourable than the terms and conditions which currently apply to your employment.

Yes, this will enable the transfer of employment to Regis.

In the main, all role titles will remain the same. Any future title changes will be communicated as soon as it is known.

All employees will receive an offer of employment from Regis on terms and conditions that are comparable to, and no less favourable than current terms and conditions. All salaried employees will be offered a common law contract which will be effective from completion of the acquisition.

We will update you closer to completion of the acquisition if there will be changes to pay cycles.

We understand your compensation and continuity of benefits is a key concern and we will be working together to communicate with you throughout the process to ensure a smooth transition.

At all times our priority is caring for clients and continuing to provide the same great service. Maintaining continuity of care is paramount and it is anticipated that existing care arrangements for BodeWell Community Care’s clients will not be disrupted. Any changes to systems and processes will be communicated in advance, and training will be provided.

We do not expect any immediate changes to reporting relationships other than for some of the senior leadership team.

Yes, your annual leave entitlements will transfer. You can continue with your approved annual leave as planned; there will be no need to change this.

Yes, there is no change to the availability of work for casual employees.

Yes, we will make information available about this in the coming months.

You can continue to access the employee assistance program currently available to employees of BodeWell Community Care. From completion of the acquisition you will be able to access Regis’ employee health and wellbeing program. We will provide more information about this free and confidential service in the coming months.

Maintaining continuity of care is paramount and we anticipate existing care arrangements for BodeWell Community Care’s clients will not be disrupted.

Regis is expected to move to the AlayaCare Cloud client management system nationally from 1 April 2025. We expect BodeWell will transition across to the AlayaCare system following the commencement of Support at Home in the first quarter of FY26 (i.e. July / August 2025).
