Sue Waters – Cleaning Supervisor at Regis Ringwood

Sue Waters is the Cleaning Supervisor at Regis Ringwood and has been at the home for over 13 years. With a Certificate 3 in aged care and a cleaning qualification from TAFE, Sue decided to explore opportunities within the aged care industry. Since then, she has found the job to be very satisfying and rewarding.
Working with Regis
Sue has found her career with Regis to be very rewarding and exciting. Sue considers Regis a place that encourages a strong team presence and builds a supportive community amongst employees. Her motivation comes from those around her. She feels supported by her colleagues and also enjoys keeping things clean and tidy.
When asked, ‘What do you love about your role and working with Regis?’ Sue exclaimed, “Everything, I love all the people here and love making people happy. It’s like a family – all the team members work well together, and they care and look after each other. As a team, we aim to provide quality care for our Residents; this reflects daily as we go above and beyond for the residents.”
Proud moments at Regis
Sue is proud of everything she does at Regis. Last year during the National Awards, she received two nominations for her excellence in serving customers and families and supporting Regis staff. This is a testament that Sue is valued and admired by colleagues and residents at Regis Ringwood. These two nominations have left her proud and speechless.

Sue enjoys walking up to residents and spending time talking with them. “I love them all and enjoy each opportunity to have a chat with them.”

Rachel, Facility Manager at Regis Ringwood, attested to the outstanding work Sue carries out at the home. “Sue takes pride in her work and goes above and beyond to ensure that residents are looked after.” Rachel adds that her positive energy also rubs-off on everyone daily.
Fun facts about Sue
In Sue’s spare time, she can be found in the company of her two lovely dogs, Zach and Lily, going on walks in the neighbourhood, and keeping her home sparkling clean.
