Cranbourne Chooks
It might be cold outside but Regis Cranbourne are feeling all warm and fuzzy as they house baby chickens from Henny Penny Chicken Hatching for 2 weeks. Norma from Henny Penny Chicken Hatching brought 3 one-day-old chicks and 12 eggs in an incubator on Monday. Residents and staff were so excited to watch two chicks break through their shells and be welcomed into the world right before their eyes. The power animals have in improving mental health and wellbeing is second to none and it’s great to see our residents become so engaged in initiatives such as this.
