Meals on Wheels
Last week, the Regis Sandgate Musgrave kitchen team were hard at work baking two hundred delicious shortbread biscuits for the incredible local Meals on Wheels team to deliver to clients. This year has been a challenging year and has taken its toll on the mental health and wellbeing of many. Many local seniors have remained alone in their homes, missing out on regular social outings and engagement with the community. In some cases, the only human contact has been a friendly and familiar Meals on Wheels volunteer each week.
The staff at Regis Sandgate Musgrave decided to give back to the local community in the form of tasty treats and free welfare checks. Regis cherishes bringing moments of joy to those in our community.
Regis Sandgate – Musgrave is a welcoming and vibrant aged care community in the heart of Sandgate.
The largest Home in our Sandgate complex, Musgrave offers the highest standard of aged care services for 226 residents in a positive and welcoming environment. There are 12 places dedicated to caring for those with dementia.
This is a welcoming community, gathered around several common areas, lounges and dining rooms. A unique on-site heritage area contains a café, a gift shop, a salon, and a library. Outside, quiet garden places are perfect for enjoying the bay breezes.
