In honour of Carnival month, Regis Nedlands had the opportunity of welcoming African Beats to their Home. African Beats are authentic African entertainers providing a drumming experience like no other. Liz, the Lifestyle Coordinator at Regis Nedlands, wanted to do something special that the residents could be hands on with and would leave a lasting memory. This was the perfect celebration for Carnival month, with residents getting involved with drum playing, as well as singing, dancing and limbo.
Everyone loved having the chance to drum play and dance, with Phillip Collier exclaiming “I haven’t had that fun in years! It was very enjoyable, especially for being able to take part in playing the drums. Great environment with staff dressed up!”
