Meet Reetika, the Clinical Team Leader at Regis Nedlands. Reetika is a Registered Nurse and has been with Regis since March 2021. Her work is extremely appreciated, and this International Nurses Day we wanted to highlight her exceptional commitment to the residents at Regis Nedlands.
Reetika was inspired to pursue a career in nursing so she could bring happiness to people and their families. She “finds satisfaction and relief in the eyes of families when they come to visit their loved ones under our care”.
When asked about the voices and influences who support her everyday, Reetika shared “the confidence of my colleagues in me is my biggest support”. She in turn supports the resident of Regis Nedlands by ensuring their clinical and daily needs are meet to the highest standard, whilst also prioritising her relationships with residents’ families and loved ones.
Reetika is proud to be a nurse because of the incredible impact it has as “it’s making change in someone’s life.” She finds her work most rewarding due to the amazing relationships she’s formed, but most importantly because of the “smiling faces from residents every morning”.
