Meet Alan, one of Regis Legana’s talented residents who spends every day working on his models. Over the past year, Alan has spent 3 to 4 hours each day dedicated to his creations, striving to complete them. He is incredibly passionate about timber models, making many boats in his younger years.
Alan was born in New Zealand and worked as an engineer welder for most of his life. He’s an avid musician having played the tenor horn in a band and also rode stunt motorcycles. When Alan was a young boy, he recalls being given some model kits from a neighbour. Now, he’s still enjoying something he loved in his childhood.
Creating models brings Alan immense joy to his daily life because he loves “using my hands.” He is now considering moving onto making animals for his next project. We can’t wait to see Alan’s newest creation.
