Regis Ringwood celebrated National Volunteer Week with a special afternoon tea in honour of their volunteers Ann, Lyn and Chris. All the residents were invited to join the celebration, where the volunteers were presented with special gifts as a token of appreciation.
Ann loves spending quality times with our residents and is also very passionate about sustainability work. With Ann’s help, the Regis Ringwood Lifestyle Team won the Environmental Leadership award in 2021. Lyn and Chris are very talented in the arts and crafts and love being hands on when helping residents with art therapy projects. They’re currently transforming the beautiful painting our residents make into hand made cards.
The residents loved participating in the celebration and being able to thank their volunteers themselves. Many eagerly anticipate their next visits because there is always something very interesting happening when Ann, Chris and Lyn are at Regis Ringwood. We thank our volunteers for their time and dedication to making such a positive difference for our residents.
