At Regis Birkdale, we’re dedicated to supporting our residents through every step of their ageing journey. Our mission is to ensure that every resident feels happy and fulfilled, and that’s why we organise outings like our recent trip to Bunnings Capalaba. Although this might seem like a common outing to some, for our residents, it meant so much more.
Our Lifestyle employees organise shopping trips for our residents twice a month, where they get to suggest the shops they’d like to visit. This time, our Birkdale residents were thrilled to visit Bunnings and purchase some gardening tools. They even planned to enjoy a cup of coffee with their fellow residents while they were there!
For Therese, this outing was an amazing experience. She loved being able to walk around, engage with others, and see what’s happening in the community. Plus, she was able to achieve her goal of buying a new indoor plant for her room!
