Regis Aged Care Pty Ltd (‘Regis’) has made the difficult decision to close its Regis Weston Home.

Last year Regis concluded a sales agreement with Hesperia for the sale of the Hollywood Retirement Village in Nedlands, Western Australia, and the adjacent vacant land. Additionally, a further sale agreement was concluded with Hesperia for Lot 102, which is currently owned by Regis and occupied by Regis Weston.

The date for closure of Regis Weston is 10 October 2024 or earlier if all residents find alternate accommodation prior to this date.

All residents, and their representatives, have been informed and subsequent resident and family meetings have been scheduled. Full support is being provided to families and residents to help facilitate a compassionate, seamless and considered relocation to their future home, which could be one of the other eight Regis Homes located in Western Australia.

Regis Weston employees were also advised of the closure and are currently being supported to identify future opportunities, including potential redeployment to other Regis Homes.
