Residents and employees at Regis Lutwyche celebrated World Food Day by cooking delicious food backed by our large community of Italian residents. Our Lifestyle team gave residents the opportunity to choose their choice of cooking and the choice was obvious – pizza!
“This brings back sweet memories. I used to make pizza with my daughters,” said Rosina.
Our employees who participated in the pizza making said it was wonderful to be able to see all the residents socialise and cook together within the Italian community in the Home.
“This is very delicious. Thank you to the Home for organising this,” added Rosina.
Regis Lutwyche is a contemporary aged care home located in the inner north suburb of Brisbane on the famed Kedron Brook Trail. The Home involves our residents in a myriad of social activities, including daily walking exercises, a weekly COASIT group for our Italian community, and regular bus outings. We also organise ‘Lutwish’ – a program to support residents to achieve their goals and wishes.
