Regis’ priority is to ensure the health and safety of older Australians in our care, our employees and the community. We do this by following guidance from the Department of Health, Local Public Health Units and implementing strict infection prevention and control measures in our Homes, Sites and Offices, including actively supporting our residents and employees to take up the COVID-19 vaccination. In line with the Australian Government’s initiative to get all residential aged care employees vaccinated, we are proud that 100% of our eligible employees have received their first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccination and 94% of our Homes have had at least one third dose clinic.
We have again partnered with a third-party provider to visit all our Homes across the country to administer the third dose vaccination to all our employees and residents. To date 94% of our Homes have had at least one third dose clinic. Our third dose vaccination program consists of rolling on-site clinics with the second round to be completed in early February 2022. Further to this, we also partner with our local communities around the country including general practitioners and pharmacists to support vaccination for those who couldn’t attend one of the vaccination clinics.
